Ashley Okazaki is an interior designer based in Vancouver, BC. Ashley’s work embodies the west coast with its fresh colours, natural materials, and organic textures.
THE BRIEF
Ashley wanted a brand that not only reflected her interior designs but also evoked a feeling of effortlessness and sophistication.
THE SOLUTION
This visual identity takes inspiration from expressive typography, natural colours, and West Coast visuals. I created a custom typeface by mixing traditional and modern letters that play with the balance between soft and sharp. The palette is compiled of natural earth tones that give the identity a sense of ease and reliability.

I loved getting to work with Ashley and her local company. Representing her style and west coast roots was an important part of the design process. "Natural" was one of the keywords that helped influence the entire brand.
